Will Kamala Harris Fix The Border?

by the Editor, OSA Observer (9.11.2024)

After living out of my vehicle for weeks in the beautifully austere Western Plains as a newly declared terrorist by President Biden, I decided I needed a fixed place where I could sleep easier and see law enforcement coming from miles away. The area I was at was good place for the latter, but it was too hot there, and I ultimately decided to settle down on the southern border in a section where there were mountains that had cool air in the evenings.

When I arrived at the border area, I had a valid passport in my possession with plenty of bribe money available to me (ah, the good old days when I was recently and gainfully employed and not broke), and the distant thought in the back of my mind that if I wanted to, I could disappear without a trace into Old Mexico.

I say distant thought, because I never seriously entertained it due to having deep family roots in the history of the United States dating back before it was the United States. Even after being declared a “domestic terrorist”, an “insurrectionist” and enemy of my government, with arguably little reason to stay when faced with unknown charges, I could not give up on my country.

And so, I settled on the border where nobody asked questions in a no a man’s land between the border checkpoints and the inland checkpoints while I awaited word from my lawyer who was trying to contact the Department of Justice. It was down in this border area, months after Joe Biden appointed Kamala Harris as the “point person on immigration issues at the nation’s southern border” that I found myself in a situation where I was forced to make small talk with border patrol agents that crossed my path. They told me that in their corridor, at the current trajectory human trafficking would reach a 600% increase since Biden took office.

On other occasions, when I was within sight of the inland stations, I personally witnessed multiple times that they were unstaffed and vehicles were driving through them without being stopped. No one was home and the defenses of the country were completely down. Anyone could pass through whether they were a local, an asylum seeker, a Mexican drug smuggler or a Chinese agent.

Many months later, after I had served my time in prison, a former law enforcement officer crossed my path in the park I was serving my community service at and told me his friends who still work the border said the most secure it has ever been during their tenures was under President Trump.

While these stories are all anecdotes, they tell me Kamala Harris is full of it when she claims she is going to secure the border. She could have done it along with Biden during the current administration’s term, but this did not happen. Why should anyone think it would be a priority when Biden said during the Democratic primary debates that people should surge the border?

In truth, there largely is no border. Aside from the fixed checkpoints, the patrols, some border walls and natural obstacles, some remote monitoring, there are still many places that stretch for miles-and-miles where anyone can freely enter or leave without trouble. When you couple this with an administration that encourages people to surge into the United States, you end up with what we have now—a situation where it could be too late to save American civilization. Over 50 million people are immigrants in the United States and almost 90 million are immigrants and children of immigrants.

For a mature country (our Constitution is the oldest written national framework of government still in use) with a Marxist influenced education system, this influx could easily destroy the foundations of our culture and government both of which came out of thousands of years of development and evolution from Europe. Too many people have entered too quickly where the home culture is dwarfed by the foreign cultures. This situation appears favorable to the Democrats and not as favorable to the Republicans, and this is the main reason why I believe Kamala will not fix the border if she is elected.
